Glimpse of the our past...
Nicholas and I became friends in High School. After spending a summer working in an ice cream stand together, we developed a close friendship that later turned into a dating relationship. We dated most of our Sophomore year of high school. Then, as if God was telling us that our timing wasn't right, our relationship ended. We remained friends; however, we went our separate ways. Our paths crossed a few times when we were both in relationships with other people; however, there was a spark that always lived deep inside of us. Then, nearly 10 years after dating in high school, we decided to date each other again. Things got off to a rocky start, but we managed to work through some tough times, and we fell deeply in love with one another again. For me, having Nicholas back in my life was a dream come true. I feel as thought he has alway been my true love. He touched my heart in high school and I never got over that feeling. Although things aren't exactly how they were in high school, we still have that true friendship that we built our relationship on then and now.
